For the attention of Mr. Hives.

Thanks for your favour of yesterday ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG.
We are much obliged to you for sending down the experimental car this morning. The writer went out with the car for about half an hour, and your previous remarks regarding the noise are fully understood. The matter is having our further attention.

Please also accept our thanks for the usual report on tyre mileage duly received.
