Phantom III Gearbox. We send herewith N.Sch.4981 showing the selector rod plunger housing suitable for die casting. The material suggested is RR.50. We have previously suggested the use of an aluminium alloy to save weight but the difficulty was in closing the bores. However, it is now thought that it will be possible to swage in discs successfully as shown on our drawing. N.Sch.4981 herewith. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
