WRAITH AND BENTLEY III PETROL TANK.

Difficulty has been experienced with the strap hanging on the Wraith tank where the tensioner on top tends to make the strap bite into the tank.

We suggest that the top strap is carried in one piece over the top of the tank and a tensioner placed in the bolt which carries the front plate where the straps are now attached. This should not increase cost but rather reduces it by saving rivets and slot cut in the short piece of strap now used.

A rough sketch is attached.
