Description: 6.50 x 17 INDIA TYRES TYPE "BENTLEY SILENT TYRE". Purpose: To improve silence and road holding. Brief Report and Remarks Tyres of this size have run 15,000 miles in France on 3.B.IV. The silent variety will shortly have run in France on 6.B.IV. At the recommended cold pressures of 25 Front and 28 Rear the car keeps a straighter course than on the present tyres. Oversteering on corners is reduced and the ride improved. (Wheels to GW.429) When recommended for Introduction: 1st. in M Series.
