To G/Rb.{R. Bowen} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.1/AP.10.7.37 BENTLEY THERMOSTAT SCHEME. As discussed verbally with you, will you please cancel the request for cost figures for scheme LeC.5655 in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.3/AP 23.6.37 as we are not proceeding further with this scheme - will you instead please give us cost figures for scheme to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 attached. This utilises a thermostat, the price of which can be taken as 5/6 at the moment and also utilises the cyl. head end outlet EB.3320 detailed for scheme LeC.5655. With this scheme, the water connections between the cyl. head and the hot spots are dispensed with, as is the present pipe connecting both hot spots to the pump - the piping shown on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 is substituted. No alteration is made to the standard water pump. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
