To HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to CJ. RG.{Mr Rowledge} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X.3825 E6/M21.11.25. EAGLE 16. MAGNETO BRACKET FOR DIRECT DRIVE. X.3825. We send herewith drawing LeC.2171 giving you particulars of the facings on the direct drive nose for carrying the front pair of magnetos, and also the magneto drive box itself. We are not using dowel pins for fixing the position of the latter but a couple of reamed bolts. We think it should be possible to produce this drive sufficiently in line with interchangable parts made on jig. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
