Dear Sir,

We acknowledge the receipt of your letter and we are glad we were able to place the 40 Series Buick at your disposal.

We have looked into the matter of riding and we have made adjustments that we consider have vastly improved the comfort for the back seat passengers. Perhaps, at some future date, you would like to try the car again.

We are very glad indeed that the 16-cylinder Cadillac has arrived safely at your Works and thank you for the kind invitation to try it at a time convenient to you as well as ourselves. Several of our Staff have had opportunity of driving the 16-cylinder models already, but we know that Captain Hartman, who tried one last January when he was in New York, would like to have another opportunity. He is away on vacation at the moment, so could you let us know when you anticipate finishing with this car, and we could then gauge to some degree as to whether he would have returned to the Office by that date.

We hope you will have the car here some little while. If you are considering selling it in England, would you please be good enough to arrange definitely for Captain Hartman to be advised of the price, as possibly he will be interested to take the car off your hands.

Yours faithfully,

LENDRUM & HARTMAN LTD.
