Re: 3 1/2 LITRE BENTLEY IN FRANCE
Fitting large oil pumps
-----------------------

With reference to our Sr/VAI/GM.25.7.38, we have, in addition to those cars already mentioned, fitted large oil pumps to the following chassis:

B.19.DK - Mr. FERENCZI
Owner agreed to pay Frs.650.

B.201.CW - Mr. LACOUR
In agreement with Mr. Lacour we sent, on the 1st instant, a large oil pump with fitting instructions to his address in the country, where he will arrange to have it fitted. This customer has agreed to pay Frs.700.

B.74.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} - Mr. CONSTANT
Fitted a large pump. Owner agreed to pay Frs.750.

B.173.EJ - Mr. COZZICA
Fitted a large pump. Owner charged Frs.750.

B.169.DK - Mr. VAN WAESBERGHE
Fitted a large pump. Owner agreed to pay Frs.750.

B.9.DK - Mr. VAN DER HAUZER
Fitted a large pump, charging owner Frs.750.

B.105.DK - Mrs. WILLERT
Upon our advice, our Cannes Depot have fitted a large pump to this car.
Although the car is not permanently in France, we believe Mrs. Willert is a very fast driver.
"K" have informed us that the present owner is the fourth. No charge has yet been made for fitting the pump. Mrs. Willert has informed us that she will be returning to Paris with her car in a fairly short time. This car has covered over 40.000 miles. "K" say that they carried out an R.20 engine clean in May 1937, the speedometer then being 22.899 miles. We will try and persuade Mrs. Willert to keep the large pump by making her a special price.
