With reference to BY6/H14.6.26., the points mentioned have now been discussed with you verbally, and it is agreed that there have been some discrepancies all round resulting in a general lowering of the ground clearance.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} has now instructed that the undershield shall be brought up as close to the crankcase as possible, and the front brake differential modified to suit. We shall be sending you this design in the course of a few days.
