(2) ENGINE BEARER ARM.

It was stated this means a new drop forging, and it was thought that it would take three to four weeks to make dies and get forgings.

(3) STARTER MOTOR CHAIN WHEEL AND NEW EPICYCLIC GEAR TO GEARBOX.

New parts are wanted which will take three to four weeks to complete.

(4) VALVES.

All the valves that we had made and fitted in the engines have got to be changed and new ones fitted. It was considered this would not cause any undue delay.

(5) EXHAUST NOZZLE.

This has been a late instruction and Order Office are doing their best to get deliveries, but up to the time of the conference they could not get any promise of delivery from makers.

(6) PEDALS.

It was stated that there would be delay of three to four weeks in getting parts in from the Order Office. This is due to late instructions to Order Office.

(7) EXHAUST CUT-OUT.

Experimental Dept. was working on this job, which at present was giving trouble.

(8) STEERING BOX.

This matter is still being further experimented with before definite instructions can be given to the Works.

(9) IGNITION WIRING TUBE.

West WitteringHenry Royce's home town going to give Drawing Office further instructions. This may mean a delay of five or six weeks in obtaining proper tubes from outside.

(10) EXHAUST CHOKE VALVE.

Order Office thought they would be able to get the lever required in three to four weeks.
