Carburetter and Fittings. The report on the general behaviour of the carburetter, here given, bears out the general experience regarding the carburation on the 20 h.p. and it is considered that some slight modification is required, in order to reach the high standard of the 'Silver Ghost' engine carburation. It would seem that there is some want of balance between the two jets, as, if the high speed jet is set to give the best power, and the slow speed jet is then set to give the best slow running, there is a distinct flat spot which can only be avoided by further adjustment of the two jets - thus slightly spoiling the slow running or the best power conditions.

Dynamo. Action is required here to remove the cause of the brush holders becoming dirty.

Engine Guards. This matter appears to be receiving attention.

Steering. More definite information is required on this point, regarding the liability of high speed wobbles. We should have a careful series of tests, giving tyre pressures, and showing the amount of out-of-balance in the front wheels, which is required at present before a high speed wobble can develop, and establish the fact that if wheels are in balance, within a certain definite limit, it is not possible to set up high speed wobbles.

Front Axle. The cross-steering tube has fouled the front engine guard and a modification is required to prevent the possibility of this ever occurring.
