Dryslwyn. July 20/27. #X7770 Dear Mr. Robotham, Many thanks for 12 E.X. which has just arrived. Since this is not a "Secret. secret" car, as expected, I have told Mr. Dodd that we shall take it direct to London next Wednesday (July 27) & leave it at the Rolls Royce garage in Bruton Str. with Mr. Birkett, instead of taking it to Derby & going down by train to London the same night; as originally planned. Any expenses in connection with getting it back to Derby I shall be very glad to defray. Although I am a little disappointed not to try the new engine & flat rear springs, it will be very interesting to try the effect of the soft front springs on 12. E.X. I am surprised to hear that Loo vis oil does not seem satisfactory. | ||
