HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X819... To C. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} re Body Ventilation. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E7.11.33 Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/WJ.6.11.33 I agree with him that the ventilation arrangements on our own cars are terrible. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has been bringing this Fisher ventilation scheme forward for very many months and I was disappointed to hear the other day that we had not yet got a car fitted up with it. I see from the memorandum quoted that we now have a license from the Fisher people to enable us to use it. Doubtless you can give me particulars of this with the amount we have to pay. I should be glad to see you with Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}, Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} and Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} as soon as possible on this subject so that we can make sure of getting a move on, and I should like Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} to find out in the meanwhile whether we could get this scheme fitted to the front seats of 104-MY. It might be a useful experiment for adapting the scheme to an existing body as well as enabling me to get personal experience of the arrangement. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
