Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. 86017 BY.4/G.12.8.36. COIL IGNITION. I have made enquiries as to the composition of Halowax marketed by the Bakelite Co., and found that this again is a chlorinated wax somewhat similar in composition to Seekay Wax but having better electrical properties. This means that in using this wax we shall have to have similar safeguards as for Seekay wax, and again it means that we shall have to be very careful to obtain a guarantee for an insulating enamel on the wire if and when this wax were used to ensure that the enamel is not affected.
