x 456 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/AD. August 12th, 1932. Mr. Herbert Clark, Messrs. Bendix-Perrot Brakes Ltd. Kings Rd. Tyseley, Birmingham. Dear Sir, With reference to your letter of the 11th inst. for which we thank you, I note your observations re the brake shoes, which I will bear in mind. With regard to the clutch control, we have tried out the four plungers which you submitted to us and so far have had no success with them. We are now altering the characteristics of the clutch somewhat to see if this will improve matters. We think we had better continue our tests for a little while before bothering you further. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
