Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} /EWT/Hl/3.2.26. We have made a test with an Enots Gun fitted with an intensifier, and find that what FBS. {F. Bell Scott} has found is quite correct. In fact, we were able to bend the Support Brackets so far that they took a permanent set and caused the Countershafts to be fixed tight. It is evidently a point which requires attention. NRC. {N. R. Chandler} suggests a groove extending almost the full length of the Bearing Bushes which would become uncovered when the Bracket is forced outward. I agree it is possibly the solution of the trouble with Mr. Lindall's chassis. Hm. {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} | ||
