X.3601. RE "GOSHAWK" STARTING HANDLE- N. SCHEME 633.

Referring to the above, would you kindly note that Mr. Royce now considers that this scheme may be proceeded with. He would like, however, a thin nut used for securing the spindle of the grip, and also a countersunk screw for the lubricating hole in this spindle. The gauge of the metal tube for the grip should also be made lighter. The bore of the starting shaft at the butted end can be a little larger within the tapered portion, and whtin the threaded portion so as to make it easier for the butting operation on p.t.
