- 9a - HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}1/VS.{J. Vickers}6.9.37. Petrol Tank (Continued). in good condition, excepting for rust on the inner surfaces. In view of the small mileage, this rusting should receive attention. Pedals. To LOP.FW.964, incorporating the following :- N.S.5058/66 - Modification to Brake and Clutch Pedals, and Braking System. N.S.5635. - Modification to Dashbrackets and Accelerator Pedal Bearing. N.S.5074/5. - Floorboards, composite construction. General condition satisfactory, excepting FW.435, Horizontal Pedal Stay, which has fractured. See EXI.201 attached. Front Dampers. These Dampers were checked after test, the loads proving correct. Propeller Shaft. Produced by Hardy Spicer. Condition of needle-roller bearings satisfactory. Slight signs of picking up on splines of sliding joint. General condition good. | ||
